Speech Writing

We have been writing speeches for the first half of Term 3. Here are all of our speeches for your viewing pleasure.

Cameo Writing

For the first half of this term, we have been focusing on cameo writing. This is a form of writing where we have to describe a topic using as much detail as possible. We learned all about similes, verbs, nouns and adverbs in order for us to be able to paint a picture in the audience's mind. We used a program called Storybird to publish the last piece of writing that we wrote. We watched this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWfph3iNC-k as motivation for our writing. We then tried to put ourselves in his shoes and describe it from his perspective. Please read our work and give us some positive feedback.
